    300102 - Turtles-Beginner II

    This class will orient children to the aquatic environment and establish basic aquatic skills. This class is for children who cannot float on their front or back. The goals of the beginner class is to provide experiences and activities for children to:
    - Learn to ask permission before entering the water.
    - Learn how to enter and exit the water in a safe manner.
    - Feel comfortable in the water.
    - Explore submerging the face (mouth, nose and eyes) completely.
    - Explore buoyancy on the front and back position with support.
    - Change body position in the water with support.
    - Learn how to play safely.

    310101 - Level 1 Swim Lessons

    Pre-Requisite: Children must show comfort at having their face in the water. Children entering this class must be able to float and glide on their front and back supported and recover from their floats to a vertical position. Children must demonstrate some forward progression with their face in the water and backward progression both with support.
    The goals of Seals Level 1 class are to provide experiences and activities for children to:
    - Learn to ask permission before entering the water.
    - Learn how to enter and exit the water in a safe manner.
    - Feel comfortable in the water unsupported.
    - Experience submerging the mouth, nose, and eyes completely.
    - Master buoyancy on the front and back position unsupported.
    - Change body position in the water unsupported.
    - Explore forward & backward progression with arm and leg swim stroke motions.
    - Learn to be safe in an aquatic environment.

    310102 - Level 2 Swim Lessons

    310102 - Level 2 Swim Lessons

    Pre-Requisite: Children entering this class must be able to float on their front with their face in the water & backs unsupported for 8 seconds, demonstrate forward progression on their front with their face in the water leveled off 2-3 body lengths and backward progress 2-3 body lengths leveled off.

    The goals of this class mark the beginning of the independent swimming skills. Children learn to glide without support and to recover to vertical position. Children further develop simultaneous alternating arm and leg actions on the front and back which lays the foundation for future strokes.
